Carlos M. Arroyave V. received a B.S. and M.S. degree in Solid State Physics from Jagiellonian University , Krakow, Poland, in 1982. In 1983 he completed the course work for his Applied Mathematics at EAFIT University in Medellin, Colombia. In 1997 he got his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State University at Northridge (CSUN) in los Angeles, California. From 1982 until 1991 he taught Physics at EAFIT University.

From 1997 thru 2015, he worked for the Failure Analysis and Package Reliability groups at different USA high tech companies (LSI LOGIC, QUALCOMM INC., SKYWORKS, PEREGRINE SEMICONDUCTORS, FAIRCHILD, and SILANNA). During these years he wrote more than 2000 Integrated Circuits Failure Analysis reports.

During his stay in the United States, he taught Mathematics and Electronic at several higher level institutions (OHLONE COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MAINE, SOUTH MAINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, and MIAMI DADE COLLEGE).

Since 2015 he has been working on designing and publishing interactive ePubs and Web Apps for kids.
